The KIDDO platform is completely customisable, so you can program what you would like, when you would like it. You can use the KIDDO-created programs, custom programs you create yourself, or a combination of both! Click HERE for more information on how to create and upload your own programs. Follow the instructions below to customise your PE scope and sequence.

Would you like to know how to:

  1. Change the PE scope and sequence for each year group
  2. Change the PE scope and sequence for an individual class

You must be the KIDDO Manager for your school to change the PE Scope and Sequence. If you have the Manager role, when you click on ‘Dashboard’, you will see a ⚙ ‘cog’ icon in the black bar at the top.

 

1. Changing the PE scope and sequence for each year group

  • Click on the 'Dashboard' button in the top right-hand side of the page (or the 'Dashboard' button next to your class if you teach multiple classes)
  • In the ⚙ ‘cog’ section, click on ‘PE Scope & Sequence’
  • Choose the year group you would like to customise using the drop-down menu or by clicking directly on the year group
  • If you scroll down, you should be able to see all the KIDDO programs, plus any programs you have created
  • Scroll down to the program schedule and click 'Customise'
  • Click on the 'x' in the top right-hand corner of each program you would like to remove
  • From the list of programs above the program schedule, select the program you would like to add, and drag and drop it into the appropriate term dates where you would like it to run
  • It will now appear on your dashboard on the dates you have chosen for every class within that year group
  • You can revert to the KIDDO programs at any time by clicking 'Revert'

 

2. Changing the PE scope and sequence for individual classes

  • Click on the 'Dashboard' button in the top right-hand side of the page (or the 'Dashboard' button next to the class you would like to customise)
  • Click on the subheading ‘Programs’ (it’s between 'Assessments' and 'Lessons')
  • If you scroll down, you should be able to see all the KIDDO programs, plus any programs you have created
  • Scroll down to the program schedule and click 'Customise'
  • Click on the 'x' in the top right-hand corner of each program you would like to remove
  • From the list of programs above the program schedule, select the program you would like to add, and drag and drop it into the appropriate term dates where you would like it to run
  • It will now appear on your dashboard on the dates you have chosen ONLY for that class
  • You can revert to the KIDDO programs at any time by clicking 'Revert'
