Balance Dice
Use the KIDDO Balance Dice print-out to explore new ways to balance!
Set up
Print off the balance dice from the Take-Home Resources tab (or download PDF from this page). Cut out the dice outline and stick the tabs together to create the dice.
How to play
Step 1:
- Once you've constructed your dice, give it a roll!
Step 2:
- Follow the balance pose that the dice lands on
Step 3:
- Roll again, throw it further or try and do cool spinning tricks with the dice!
Variations
Make it easier
- Show the child how to do the balance
Make it harder
- Write a time (e.g 8/5/10 seconds) on each face, the first roll determines which balance pose to hold, the second roll determines how long it must be held for
- If playing with someone else, if you correctly guess what face it lands on, the other person has to do the balance, not you
