Hallway Soccer

Play at your own risk! Hallway Soccer develops dribbling and kicking skills using equipment you have at home.
Set up
Set up your pitch by moving away any hazards and obstacles, and marking clear boundary areas (this will depend on the space you have in your house!). Choose your soccer ball (it is recommended to use a soft ball). Set up two goals using anything you like (try water bottles, big teddies, a doorway).
How to play
Step 1:
- Explain the boundaries of your game, e.g not allowed to go into the living room, not allowed to kick the ball out of the hallway etc
Step 2:
- Get to it! First to 5 points wins, or play for 10 minutes to see who's the ultimate Hallway Soccer champ!
Variations
Make it easier
- Play outside for more space and less risk of damage if children lose control of the ball
- Make your goal larger
Make it harder
- If you have multiple people playing, make a rule that you must pass the ball before 5 seconds is up
- Make the goal smaller, such as 'hit the teddy to score a goal'
- Have a goalie (can just be a teddy as an extra obstacle to avoid)
