Over the Mountain

This activity introduces babies to new surfaces whilst crawling, and maximises the fun level!
How to play
Step 1
- Parent lies on floor and encourages baby to crawl over them
Step 2
- Once baby has crawled onto chest, parent can either grab them and ‘aeroplane’ baby, or let baby crawl to other side
Step 3
-
Encourage baby to crawl back to the other side
Variations
Make it easier
- Instead of crawling over you, lay out smaller hurdles, such as cushions for baby to crawl over
Make it harder
