Stretchy Arms

This simple activity is great for developing babies grasping and stretching. Perfect for tummy-time activities.
Set up
Stretchy Arms can be done anytime, during tummy time, or whilst baby is lying on their back. Use a toy or object that the baby is likely to engage with, such as a rattle or their favourite teddy.
How to play
Step 1
- Get baby’s attention with a toy
Step 2
- Move the toy towards baby’s hands
Step 3
- Encourage baby to reach for the toy
Step 4
- Switch the hand you point the toy towards, to get baby using both hands
