1. Where do I access Professional Development?
- Click on the 'Dashboard' button in the top right-hand side of the page (or the 'Dashboard' button next to your class if you teach multiple classes)
- Find the black box on the left-hand side
- Click on ‘Professional Development’ and select ‘Primary Schools Certificate of Physical Literacy’ and get started!
2. How long does it take?
Most people typically finish the course within 3 – 4 hours, however, you will be credited with 6 hours of Professional Learning
3. Do I have to complete it all at once?
No! You can save wherever you get up to and come back later to complete it. The course is also divided into 6 modules, making it super easy to complete one module at a time.
4. How do I progress through the course?
After you have worked your way through each module, you must then complete the final quiz and get 100% - you can retake it as many times as needed. Once you have completed the quiz, click on the 'Save and exit' button in the top right corner. This will take you to the page with all the modules and allow you to move on to the next module by clicking on it.
5. Who should do the professional development?
Everyone! All teachers and support staff who work with Primary School aged children should complete the ‘Certificate of Physical Literacy’. We all benefit from a greater understanding of the lifelong impact of an individual's physical literacy.
6. Do I get a certificate?
Yes – you will receive a downloadable certificate once you have completed the course and scored 100% on each quiz at the end of each module (you can retake each quiz as many times as you like).
7. What is in the course?
A six-module course, taking 3 – 4 hours to complete, authored by Australian and International experts and practitioners.
