Air Signature

A fun movement activity where students "write" their name in the air using different body parts. Great for a quick brain break with no equipment required.
Set up
This game can be playing standing or sitting, depending on the available space. Ensure students have enough space to move safely.
How to play
Step 1:
The educator calls out different body parts (finger, elbow, knee, foot, head) for children to use to "write" their name in the air.
Step 2:
Children can write their first name, last name, initials, or even a secret word.
Step 3:
- Add a partner challenge—one partner writes while the other partner tries to guess the name or word.
- Repeat with different actions like writing big, small, fast or slow.
Variations
Make it harder
- Ask children to balance on one leg while playing the game.
- The educator calls out a word or number that the students must write in the air.
