We’ve been busy behind the scenes making KIDDO even better for the year ahead. Everything we’ve added or updated has one goal in mind: to make planning, teaching and assessing PE easier, while continuing to support students to develop strong physical literacy.

Below is a snapshot of what’s new and improved across the platform this year.

New assessment rubrics

Assessment just got simpler.

You can now access curriculum-aligned assessment rubrics for Foundation to Year 6, designed to be completed online within KIDDO. These rubrics:

  • Align directly to your state's curriculum
  • Assess across all domains of physical literacy
  • Support consistent assessment across year levels
  • Easily completed online - save time on documentation and reporting

Whether you’re assessing movement skills, game understanding or participation, these rubrics are built to fit seamlessly into your PE program.

To make things easier, we now offer downloadable PDF versions of all rubrics, so you can familiarise yourself with them before assessing online.

Our Year 3–6 content has been completely refreshed, with new lessons and programs across the year that:

📖 Up-to-date curriculum alignment

KIDDO programs and lessons are aligned to the latest versions of the curricula used across Australia, including the Australian Curriculum, Western Australian Curriculum, Victorian Curriculum and NSW Syllabus.

The programs, lessons and assessments you see in your KIDDO dashboard are automatically based on the state or territory you’re located in.

This means you can plan and teach with confidence, knowing your lessons are current, relevant and clearly linked to curriculum – with no cross-checking required.
